POST 16

POST 16

All pupils have the opportunity to explore the next step on to college.

Applications are usually completed before Christmas and interviews start for next year’s courses in January. The Hub supports all pupils through this process and helps to make the transition to college as smooth as possible.

Debbie Mansfield our Transition and Work Related Learning Mentor, will be guiding and supporting students through year 11 in planning their transition into further education at post 16. During the course of the year the students will attend various events and activities in providing them with careers information, advice and guidance.  This includes access to independent careers advice.  Students are supported throughout the college application and interview process and have access to additional transition support post 16.

If you have any queries or concerns about careers or further education, Debbie can be contacted on 01273 291294 or via e-mail cordeliamillington@tch.brighton-hove.sch.uk.
