Food Preparation and Nutrition Revision

The Food preparation and nutrition course is both exam and coursework based. Both parts are worth 50%, the exam is 20% multiple choice questions and then made up of five longer answer questions around certain topics.
Food preparation skills – these are intended to be integrated into the five sections:


  1. Food, nutrition and health
  2. Food science
  3. Food safety
  4. Food choice
  5. Food provenance
